That the following items be approved as part of the Consent Agenda: Staff Report 2025-0006: Boundary Highway Agreement Town of Caledon and City of Vaughan That Council approve the Boundary Highway Agreement between the Town of Caledon and City of Vaughan regarding the patrol, inspection, maintenance, and repair of the Albion/Vaughan Road; and That Council approve By-Law No. 2025-XXX authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to execute the Boundary Highway Agreement, and any ancillary related agreements and documents as outlined above. Staff Report 2025-0007: Boundary Agreement Town of Caledon and Township of East Garafaxa That Council approve the Boundary Agreement between the Town of Caledon and Township of East Garafaxa regarding the patrol, inspection, maintenance, and repair of Winston Churchill Boulevard and Caledon /East Garafaxa Townline roads; and That Council approve By-Law No. 2025-XXX authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to execute the Boundary Agreement, and any ancillary related agreements and documents as outlined above. That the By-law attached as Schedule ‘C’ to Staff Report 2025-0015 be enacted to amend Comprehensive Zoning By-law 2006-50, as amended, to remove a site-specific Holding Symbol (“H34”) from the subject lands, which will permit the intended development of the property for industrial purposes. That By-law 2025-001, being a By-law to establish a Traffic Safety Advisory Committee and provide its Terms of Reference attached as Schedule B to Staff Report 2025-0026, be approved. Whereas an application for Draft Plan Approval for the above noted lands has been received by the Town; And Whereas Council has enacted the OPA for the said lands at its council meeting held on December 17, 2024; And Whereas in a letter dated December 19, 2024, the Draft Plan of Subdivision application was deemed complete as of December 13, 2024 in accordance with Section 51(19.1) of the Planning Act; And Whereas Notice of Application was given on January 2, 2025 in accordance with Section 51(19.4) of the Planning Act; And Whereas Council now considers it appropriate to grant Draft Plan of Subdivision approval to the above noted lands; Now therefore, be it resolved that: 1. Approval is hereby given pursuant to Section 51(31) of the Planning Act to the Draft Plan of Subdivision prepared by Malone Given Parsons dated March 28, 2024, revised to December 4, 2024 (the “Plan”), a copy of which is attached hereto as Schedule “A”; Planning and Development Committee Meeting Minutes Tuesday, January 14, 2025 Page 7 of 8 2. The Plan is approved subject to the Draft Plan Conditions attached hereto as Schedule “B”; 3. Approval of the Plan shall lapse at the expiration of 5 years from the date of approval of the Plan. That the Town of Caledon support the resolution dated November 21, 2024 as passed by the Township of Puslinch regarding the protection of agricultural lands and sustainable excess soil management practices in Ontario; and, That a copy of this resolution be sent to the Township of Puslinch, the Ministry of Environment Conservation and Parks, Ontario Ministry of Food Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Premier of Ontario, the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO).
